Drivers for school runs are more than just taxi drivers–students often consider them friends, and parents trust them with the safety of their children. If you like children and want to make money working part time (3 hours a day), then this is the job for you!

DUTIES:

Drivers for school runs must be attentive to traffic and weather conditions while staying on schedule and ensuring the safety of the children. Drivers are also responsible for maintaining a safe environment within the vehicle by enforcing rules of conduct and responding to emergencies. They must keep track of the number of students transported and obtain school signatures, which they submit to their supervisors each week

REQUIREMENTS:

Required EducationCompletion of a formal training program through the Philadelphia Board of Education
Other Requirements* Driver’s license with passenger and school endorsements from Philadelphia Board of Education; 
* Clean background check and drug screening

TRAINING:

School run drivers are not required to hold college degrees; however, they must complete required Philadelphia School District approved training prior to the start of their first day
